COAST GUARD CUTTER GEORGE TRANSPORT INMATES (FOR RELEASE)

SANTA CATALINA ISLAND, Calif. (May 14, 2007)--The Coast Guard Cutter George Cobb, homeported on Terminal Island in San Pedro, Calif., transported the first group of California inmates back to the mainland May 14 after the inmates helped battle the wildfires on the island this past week. The cutter will spend the next two days to get all 420 inmates back to the Los Angeles area. (U.S. Coast Guard Video)
