Featured stories include: Responder Knowledge Base, (RKB). ComNET explores the RKB and how it can be used as a resource for equipment information: National Disaster Medical System, (NDMS). ComNET visits the NDMS to find out more about its national capability to delivery quality medical care to the victims of, and responders to, a domestic disaster: Veterinary Medical Assistance Teams, (VMATs). ComNET looks at the capabilities of VMATs and the medical care they can provide for pets, search and rescue dogs, livestock, wildfire and zoo animals: Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The Oak Ridge National Laboratory system is working on a system to help rural law enforcement agencies quickly gather and share information about criminal activity.</description>
